Five-plunger pump 2500

This plunger pump is designed for use in oilfield acidizing and hydraulic fracturing installations. It maintains the high load capacity of the connecting rods, necessary for operation even in severe conditions, including hydraulic fracturing of shale formations. The equipment is designed for harsh field conditions and operates reliably continuously at ambient temperatures from -20℃to +50 degrees and relative humidity no more than 90% at +20 degrees.

 

Designed for the operating mode of an oil field hydraulic fracturing pump: continuous operation 6 days a week, 10 hours a day, total annual operating time of 3000 hours, as well as the possibility of continuous operation at maximum power for 3 hours.

The plunger pump provides a maximum operating pressure of 20,000 Psi when using a 3.5" diameter plunger and a maximum flow of 7,740 L/min when installing a 6.75" diameter plunger. While maintaining the specified performance characteristics of the power unit, the Buyer has the right to use plungers of different sizes depending on specific operating conditions.

The plunger pump supplied by the Seller must be equipped with a complete set of systems and components required for normal operation.
The seller provides a list of standard wear parts required for trouble-free operation of the plunger pump.

Model QWS2500SD hydraulic assembly

1.1 Assembly of the hydraulic part of the five-cylinder plunger pump QWS2500SD. The hydraulic cylinders are manufactured using hardening technology, equipped with a high performance RSL 4 inch diameter seal assembly, valve assemblies and valve seats.

1.2 One outlet pressure gauge fitting cover 2"-1502, installed in the center of the upper part of the hydraulic cylinder.

1.3 One flange of the outlet pipe 3"-1502 on the right, one flange of the safety valve fitting 2"-1502 on the left (view from the power part to the hydraulic part).

1.4 One equal diameter suction manifold assembly with 8" flanges, equipped with a 3"-207 cleanout port.

Power section model QWS2500SD

2.1 Equipped with a tachometer drive to measure pump rotation speed.

2.2 The power section inlet flange and connecting bolts are supplied (drawings of the inlet flange are provided by the customer).
After delivering the equipment to the buyer’s plant, the seller sends qualified technical specialists to the installation site to provide technical support for installation, commissioning and personnel training.
Painting the plunger pump: only primer is applied; The seller provides requirements for the performance properties of the finishing enamel.

One transport skid for the pump (transport base).

Lubrication requirements

7.1 The power part of the plunger pump is forced-lubricated by a gear pump, the lubricating oil pressure should not exceed 400 psi.

7.2 Lubricating oil for the power part must meet the requirements: intended for ultra-high operating pressures, viscosity index not less than 135, pour point not higher than −35℃F, oil temperature during operation not more than 79 degree.

7.3 For the hydraulic section, a vertically mounted air-operated lubrication pump is used with a flow rate of 12 oz/min, operating pressure of 150 psi and a gear ratio of 40:1.

7.4 Recommended lubricating oils for the hydraulic part:

• At ambient temperatures above 0 degree: Shell Tonna V Oil No. 220 or Mobil Vactra Oil No. 4.
• At ambient temperatures below 0 degree: Shell Tonna V Oil No. 68 or Mobil Vactra

The plunger pump must be completely new, without refurbished parts or components.
After the goods have been received by representatives of the Buyer and Seller, a joint acceptance and inventory of all items is carried out according to the packing list with a confirming signature of both parties.

WEIR SPM warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of installation and will repair the products during their intended service life in accordance with the procedures and instructions set forth in the user manual.

Under normal operation and compliance with operating rules, the warranty period for the plunger pump is 12 months from the date of shipment by the Seller (wearing parts of the hydraulic part are not included in the warranty). If manufacturing defects of non-standard wear parts are detected during the warranty period, the Buyer has the right to demand from the Seller a free replacement of the defective parts and repair work.

During the warranty period, the Seller is obliged to respond to the Customer's requests and requirements received by telephone or fax from the site within 4 hours with the provision of measures to eliminate problems. If breakdowns or quality defects occur, the Seller’s specialists will arrive at the site to eliminate the faults within 48 hours after receiving notification.
